ONAP (Open Network Automation Platform) is an open-source software platform for real-time, policy-driven orchestration and automation of physical and virtual network functions. This enables software, network, IT, and cloud providers and developers to rapidly automate new services and support complete lifecycle management.
With ONAP, network operators can synchronously orchestrate physical and virtual network functions. This approach allows operators to leverage existing network investments.
We participated in the development of the Active and Available Inventory (AAI) subsystem. We provided upgrades and extensions for various AAI applications like resources, schema-service, graph admin, and sparky-fe. We also created a graph tool for visualization of the AAI data schema and helped Orange Slovakia with the installation of its ONAP lab.
ONAP is an open-source networking project hosted by the Linux foundation.
Orange Slovensko, a.s. is the biggest mobile network operator in Slovakia.
